Microsoft has begun cutting the prices of Xbox One by offering a free download of Titanfall ($60 value) along with the $500 console. The Xbox One has been doing well, but not nearly as well as its competition the $100 less expensive Playstation 4.

Xbox One Price Cut in the UK
The “Titanfall” Limited Edition Xbox One will be released on March 11 alongside the release of the Titanfall game. Additional discounts will be given to the UK starting February 28 removing about $50 from the price tag. This price change is apparently permanent (Horay for the UK!)
No Limited Edition Titanfall Controller Included
Sorry, nope the “Titanfall” console will NOT include the sexy limited edition Titanfall controller.

My guess is that Microsoft is beginning to test with cutting the prices of their consoles in the UK. It would be no surprise to see an Xbox One price cut to $450 in the near future if all goes well in the UK. Titanfall looks to be the first true system seller for either next gen console. If you have been waiting to buy an Xbox One due to the lack of quality games, March 11 might just be the day you change your mind and decide to drop $500 on a new console.
